This will make the show more approachable to those intimidated by the long run time but at the same time not take away from the magic of a long form conversation. Starting locally, new and renewed gun legislation in Washington State as well as an Inslee backed election misinformation law. Then on the national level, a breakdown of the two voting bills that are currently stalled in the senate and their broader goals and implications. The ways the government is dividing the nation with continued discussions in the legislative branch about eliminating the filibuster, Jay Inslees elimination of affirmative action in the name of equity, rowdy parents and anti authority individuals being considered “domestic violent extremists”, breaking down a recent poll of what COVID measures some democrats will support, and the blatant double standard from the Biden Admin toward rioters depending on their political ideology.
