Episode 123: The State of Our Union

This week we are announcing a new show structure going forward. To emphasize the shows ability to be consumed either in pieces or at once we will be releasing a full episode as well as more defined segments over the two weeks leading into the new show. This will make the show more approachable to those intimidated by the long run time but at the same time not take away from the magic of a long form conversation. As always we are here for you so let us know what you think in the comments.

In Part 1/4, the boys catch up on the pop culture since 122, a local 2nd Amendment update and then a breakdown of one of Gov. Jay Inslees recent press conferences. In Part 2/4, Joe Bidens first State of the Union address is broken down from the performance to the substance and everything in between. In Part 3/4, an update on the current timeline of events for the Russia/Ukraine conflict and then a deep dive into the causes, possible outcomes and details behind the far-reaching effects we could see because of it. And in Part 4/4 a grab bag containing talks about the extended Child Tax Credit both in its effect and the policy itself, a breakdown and comparison of the Pro Act and the TEAM act of 2022 and finally a quick sports update.

Part 5/4 is a Patreon exclusive for ANY TEIR, be there or be square. You can check out our tiers and become a patron here!

Episode 122: Watch the Left Fail

On Episode 122 Don and Offie take some time to watch the left fail. Starting with proof that the left hates us all like the Biden Admins take on the current Ukraine/Russia scenario, a thorough breakdown of the protest and subsequent fascism in Ottawa, updates in the Durham investigation and some quick updates on the Washington State mag ban. Then some examples of the leftist ideas failing including BLMGNF having to stop fundraising in several states, unprecedented increases in drug/safety violations on Seattle Metro, some light is shed on the much shared “crackpipes for equity” story, and the saga of Penn State swimmer Lia Thomas may be reaching a solution.

We talked about the siege of the Portland Courthouse on Episode 89 and 90!

Episode 121: In The Name of Equity

On Episode 121 Don and Offie start with corrections to the Episode 120 coverage about the expansion of some Washington State laws to cover COVID-19 and explain exactly what was true and false. Next, the concept of a “national divorce”, what it is, why it’s being brought up and some of the political and social issues that could lead to a divorce. Starting locally,  new and renewed gun legislation in Washington State as well as an Inslee backed election  misinformation law. Then on the national level, a breakdown of the two voting bills that are currently stalled in the senate and their broader goals and implications. The ways the government is dividing the nation with continued discussions in the legislative branch about eliminating the filibuster, Jay Inslees elimination of affirmative action in the name of equity, rowdy parents and anti authority individuals being considered “domestic violent extremists”,  breaking down a recent poll of what COVID measures some democrats will support, and the blatant double standard from the Biden Admin toward rioters depending on their political ideology.

Episode 120: Lenny Was There

On episode 120, Don and Offie kick off 2022 with a “let me ask you this” about alternatives to the tech overlords (twitter, IG, Facebook etc.). Moving then to the COVID updates locally, nationally and around the globe including changes to CDC guidelines and protocols causing issues especially with schools and hospitals, the proliferation of the Omicron variant and its side effects. A breakdown of the authoritarian nature of the emergency powers of the Federal and State governments displayed during COVID and why they are not about health including the placating to teachers unions, illogical, inconsistent and unconstitutional public health guidelines and the disgusting and obvious collusion between big pharma, the corporate media and governments around the globe. Moving then to a listener request topic; the split of the media. A quick breakdown of the way Don sees the current media structure and then diving into why the split from corporate media started including the constant disinformation and gas lighting carried out by corporate media, the dystopian nature of the corporate media narrative about The Capitol Riots, and how corporate media ignores and erases the narratives and public characters that don’t fit their narrative from Joe Rogan to Ghislaine Maxwell. Why we should all beware the false messiah of shows like Breaking Points

Here are the Washington State codes we went over this week

We talked about the Capitol Riots on episode 100
